CONTAINER HANDLING
The port of Haifa offers its clients modern and efficient container terminal services. The port has incorporated the best know-how and the accumulated experience of ports around the world into the terminal's design and operational methods. It employs modern equipment featuring state-of-the-art technology. As a result, terminal users enjoy fast and efficient service at reasonable cost.
Terminal operations are supported by computer systems which manage container inventory control. The terminal has extensive areas available for storage, parking and waiting.
Container traffic is handled at two quays: the newer Eastern Quay and the Western Quay. The terminal offices and client offices are located in the terminal administration building, located next to the Eastern Quay.
