Refined oil products, both for import and export, can be handled at the oil terminal operated by the Fuel Services Company Ltd. The following types of fuel can be loaded onto or discharged from tankers: aviation fuel, gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene, marine diesel fuel, and light and heavy fuel oils.

Inside the Port
A jetty for handling refined oil products is situated on the eastern side of the main port. Up to two ships can be moored simultaneously at the fuel jetty, one on either side (draft 9.7 to 10.4 meters). A discharge rate of up to 1,000 tons per hour is achieved by 10"/12" diameter pipes.

The Outer Anchorage
A multi-buoy installation is located in Haifa Bay, north of the port. Crude oil is unloaded at the installation and moved by submerged pipeline to a tank farm. From there the crude oil can be piped to the Haifa Refinery. Crude oil can be discharged at a rate of up to 2,500 tons per hour from oil tankers and is transported to the tank farm via a 32" diameter pipeline.

Storage Tanks
The Fuel Services Company tank farm in Kiryat Haim has 41 tanks with a combined capacity of 937,000 cu.m. for the storage of crude oil. An additional 16 tanks, with a capacity of 157,000 cu.m. are available in the main port for the storage of light and heavy crude oils, diesel oil, kerosene, and gasoline.
